Why do employees at such and such a company work better?
Why are the customers of this or that brand happy to pay more for it?
Why is a soldier prepared to risk his (or her) life?
Defining the universal motivation of your organization is to give it a direction to head in. To open up new prospects. To enable it to find practical solutions for meeting its challenges. In other words, to broaden its horizons and maximize its potential.
brings people together.
Universal motivation is the best possible bonding agent that the members of a community or organization can dream of. It’s their common cause, one that they defend together every day. It smooths out any differences they may have, uniting and binding them together.
Universal motivation creates a bond. In-house and externally. Which is why some companies find it easier to recruit than others. And why asking for a higher price is not always a disadvantage. Create inspiration and reap the value benefits.
Simon Sinek's Golden Circles
My name is Jean-Charles della Faille.
I have been both a creative contributor and a creative director for almost twenty years in the world of advertising.. These days, I put my experience of major brands to work for organizations and businesses of every kind to help define their raison d’être, their universal motivation, the common cause that gives direction to the work they do. My input enables them not only to stand out from the crowd and grow their income – sometimes even their sources of income – but also to have a clear vision. Like a lighthouse casting its reassuring beam out over a raging sea.
I work exclusively using the method devised by Simon Sinek, the Golden Circles. This method is the only one capable of bringing out authentic and legitimate storytelling, taking the organization into a virtuous circle.
You know far more about your organization than I do. This means that if we work together, it is only logical that I should ask you to contribute – we call it ‘co-creation’.
We start off by asking your employees to complete a questionnaire. We then spend a morning conducting a workshop with your team. Ten days or so later, I come back to you with a clear vision for your organization, complete with the inspiring storytelling you need. You are, of course, entirely free to challenge me!
I also draw on my experience in advertising to create a signature for your brand (baseline), as well as its philosophy, plus three executions, based on your needs (which may range from a radio campaign to thoughts about your website).
Maximum number of participants: 15
Over the course of two or three half-days, this training enables the employees of an organization or department to understand how they can define a clear vision, a common cause that bonds people and fills them with enthusiasm, how to create legitimate storytelling. And sometimes even how to find all these.
This course also enables participants to take a close look at their own universal motivation.
Maximum number of participants: 10
In a session lasting one to three hours, depending on your availability, I explain how to give direction and a clear vision to your organization. Using a whole range of examples, I show you pathways for gaining inspiration you can use every day. For telling your story. Being authentic and legitimate. And for entering into a virtuous circle.
Maximum number of participants: unlimited
More than 120 clients since spring 2013 (Start-ups, SMEs, large corporations).•
I have presented lectures and training courses at UCM, the Solvay Business School and the IHECS Academy, as well as at Forem, Objectif Com’ and Silversquare, at the Economics Bureau for the Province of Namur, Azimut and Cap Innove – and many more.•
Not to mention my nearly twenty years in advertising.
Working with Jean-Charles has been very important – even key – for my concept, which was already 4 years old back then… I was looking for an identity and a common thread to what I was doing. But I couldn’t find the right words or crystallise the message I wanted to get across. I simply couldn’t express what I had in mind… I was looking for someone like Jean-Charles and began to think that he didn’t exist… But an ad on Facebook, a mutual friend and we quickly hooked up. What followed was a statement of the obvious: the right questions, challenges, a brainstorming session and the story wrote itself… Better still, we did it all without a cross word, placing the emphasis on simplicity and efficiency! A genuine human and professional coming together that gave real direction to my business.

When you talk about someone who is passionate and deeply convinced by the work they do every day, then Jean-Charles always comes to mind. It’s extraordinary to meet a person who, to put it mildly, has the best interests of the people he works with at heart. He is honest, straight to the point, cheerful, etc. Who could ask for anything more? Nothing, really, except maybe… Ask him to tell you the raison d’être of your business and to inspire you to maximise your potential. I promise you – you won’t be disappointed!
Jean-Charles tells stories!! And you know what? He’s incredibly good at it! We all like to be told stories, especially me. So much so that I wanted to find out what you have to do to tell them well! The first time I came across Jean-Charles was during a talk at the Objectif.com show in Charleroi. 250 people were there to listen to him and to watch him at work. And he absolutely rocked it! I told myself there and then that I couldn’t let the opportunity pass me by. So I asked Jean-Charles to submit a bid to host some storytelling workshops for entrepreneurs. A different sort of challenge. Not 250 people, but 12. And a different sort of interactivity. And you know what? He rocked that as well! In a word: he’s a real pro! I recommend him.

The first thing that Jean-Charles brings with him is a sense of playful energy: he has fun and has a ball just doing his job. Having a consultant who calls you at 8 in the morning, saying ‘I was in the shower and had this idea for your business!’ is no ordinary thing. The result of what Jean-Charles does is far more than just communication. Or let’s say that it’s communication based on a deep-seated identification of the business project and its roots. And there are many ramifications: communication to customers, of course, but also a real corporate identity and vision, an intrinsic definition of the business, the inspiring management of human resources – and so on. Once Jean-Charles had completed his assignment with us, it was like having a powerful engine roaring through the company – and a huge desire to step on the gas!”

Jean-Charles? He’s like an extra-terrestrial! A real storytelling pro! Want to give your project a boost? It’s what he does – and he’s good at it… plus he’s always so nice about it. One of the great human and professional encounters. Warmly recommended.
I called on Jean-Charles to present a talk about storytelling and the participants were delighted. This is a man who has done ads with the stars, who has marketing at his fingertips and who adores telling stories. Not only that, but he writes about it in his books. By no means a one-trick pony!

He’s passionate about storytelling and that’s the key if you’re looking for the right person! Jean-Charles succeeds in feeling and understanding your brand with huge amounts of empathy – even in a technical environment
Jean-Charles della Faille replaces the classic take on vision and mission by asking ‘Why?’. It’s simpler, clearer and it’s definitely far more logical for getting everyone in the company on board. Jean-Charles has the skills and ability to provide a new way of thinking and to convince even the biggest sceptics. He brings out the heart and soul of a company and the people in it. An absolute must!
